The Pociano property is situated 18 kms from Siena, on top of  on of the many soft hills that make the Sienese landscape truly unique. It is an old Tuscan farm house, which, besides the family lodgings and outbuildings, has four independent holiday apartments for rent. There is a pleasant garden on one side with a barbecue, gazebo , chairs, tables and lounge chairs for the benefit of  guests. On the other side a natural terrace opens out to a panoramic view of the Tuscan hills.

At 3 kms from the farm there is  an outdoor swimmingpool, a chemist’s store and small shops. At 7 kms from Pociano there is a shopping centre, a variety of shops and also medical care.

Pociano is an ideal place for excursions to sites of cultural interest nearby. First of all Siena of course and then there is Murlo with its Etruscan museum, the little towns of Pienza, Montalcino, San Gimigniano and Monteriggioni, the Monte Oliveto Abbey, small hamlets and churches, thermal baths  and much more. It is also a pleasure to go walking or bicycling in the woods, through olive groves and over hills in the beautiful Tuscan landscape, that has remained unspoilt for centuries.
